How does FireRock Compare to Isokern?
Isokern is a European company that offers a good product. FireRock is an American company that offers great products and great service. Compared to Isokern fireplaces, FireRock fireplaces provide superior performance and design advantages.Superior Performance:
Stronger fireplaces last longer, break less, and withstand hotter temperatures. Our fireboxes can withstand more than 3000 pounds per square inch (psi). That is more than three times stronger than comparable Isokern models. In addition to using a proprietary blend of materials, FireRock fireplaces are also designed with thicker walls and rebar-reinforced load-spanning pieces to create the strongest fireplaces available.
Isokern fireplaces have a square corner at the top of the opening that could create smoke turbulence and smoke spillage. FireRock utilizes a unique curved radius lentil which allows smoke to naturally curl into the chimney.
